Since years, we have been successfully safeguarding our client’s rights in relation to Intellectual Property. We also have the knack to get clients out of legal tangles by providing simple and effective solutions. We increase the value of your entity multifold by safeguarding your Trademark/brand, inventions, design concepts and original work of authorship. We also guide you with respect to what aspects of your business can and should be protected.

Our Services

Trademark

Generally, this would be your brand name or brand logo. Not only do we assist in registration of your Trademark, we also intimate you in case a similar mark is applied in order to oppose such Trademarks. Registration of similar marks for similar goods/services is likely to dilute the distinctiveness of your registered Trademark, and hence it is imperative to oppose such marks to protect your rights as the rightful owner and proprietor of your mark.

Copyright

What can be registered as a copyright?
Original Artistic works – This could be your logo, your packaging, a drawing/painting, a photograph.
Original literary work – This could be a script, novel, book, lyrics of a song, source code of a software and anything that is originally written by you.
Musical works, songs, sound recordings.
Cinematographic works, videos, movies.

Design

In case your product has a shape, configuration, pattern or look that is new, unique and original and has not been previously published, it could be registered as a Design. If the visual appearance of your product is what sets you apart and your design fits the above criteria, Design registration would grant you a monopoly and exclusivity over such Design.

Patent

An invention relating either to a product or process that is new, involving inventive step and capable of industrial application can be patented. Imagine a situation where you have built aproduct and large number of consumers are likely to buy the product from you merely because of its inventiveness and beneficial value. You could get an absolute monopoly and exclusivity on such product by way of patent registration. This means that if a competitor is enticed to sell a product similar to your patented product, you could restrain them from doing so on the basis of your patent registration.

Commercial IPR Litigation

Today brands lose a lot due to counterfeiting or due to third parties using similar Trademarks. We could help stop counterfeiting of your brand which we have been doing successfully since years. This includes filing suits in relation to Trademark infringement, copyright infringement, Design Infringement or Patent Infringement.

Legal Advisory pertaining to IPR disputes

Not every case is one where legal action needs to be taken. Sometimes, you are just defending your case where someone is wrongfully trying to restrain you or is wrongfully opposing you from enforcing your rights. This could be by filing a suit against you in Court, by opposing the registration of your Trademark, or by sending you a Cease and Desist Notice. We could guide you in such situations and defend your case by devising effective strategies.
